Becky, I would say I don’t know where you get your wisdom at your tender age except that — I do know, because God is the source of all wisdom. I tried to be the perfect everything and it was a DEAD END. But I learned it farther into momhood than you. More grace to me, more grace to my husband, more grace to my children.

Love, love, love! Thank you for this honest list. #7 is so true… My husband always asks me why I don’t just shut the door (because I’ll have little fists banging on it, of course). I actually did #8 today (before reading your post)… I painted my finger nails. I might still be in last night’s pj’s at 8pm & desperately need a shower, but my fingers feel pretty. AND, my husband noticed and said they looked nice :).

And ultimately, like you said, the only perfect one in their life is Jesus. I need to remember that, and remember that He blessed me with my littles for a reason. If God knows I can do this, I should actually live like I lean solely on Him for my daily strength.
