In reply to Leslee Deegan. You are exactly right! I have yet to see or hear of anyone who is "outraged" or even a little offended by this. This ONE guy's video went viral and the media took it and twisted into Christians are "outraged" by the cup.

The more I have looked and talked to my friends, I am starting to believe this whole thing was fake. Where are the outraged people? I haven’t met or heard a single one ANYWHERE. Not on liberal news pages, not on conservative ones. I am convinced that the media is just stirring stuff up in order to make Christians look petty.

THIS. I just have to shake my head at everyone who is outraged at this solid red cup, as if snowflakes and reindeer of former cups were symbols of Christianity. But, once again, Christian Outrage has attracted little more than ridicule from those who have much better things to do with their time, energy and money.

Awesome. Too many people focus on the wrong things, just as the Pharisees did. We need to get real. Focus on the needs in front of our faces and help a stranger, bring love to those around us, not confrontation. Just read a red letter Bible and focus on what Jesus did. Follow Him.

It’s really sad that this minister went on a rampage and threw a fit about the decor on the cups! Because I’ve been collecting for years and rare very rare that they put Merry Christmas on the cups only … It’s always a graphic design!
Plus to tell us to lie and say our name is Merry Christmas is seriously wrong. It’s none of my business if this is about offending others because its what’s inside that matters. NOW if you ask me it’s rebellious Christians that are causing problems for real people trying to be christians. God says to be a witness and a testimony tell the world he loves them share his word! I will not demand people to respect me because I’m trying to serve the lord I can’t tell people who to trust and believe but I can share who JESUS is and what he’s done for me and my family… John 3:16

You are not the only one! When all of this started I thought, “How did the snowmen and nutcrackers of years past celebrate Jesus anymore than a plain red cup?” 🙂 I really loved this whole article, though. The author writes of a kind of Christianity– and, even, a kind of humanity– I respect and wish to see more of in the world. People helping others– love thy neighbor– that’s what all of life should be about.
