This is really sad, it saddens my heart to hear a mom say “her last baby”. Children are always a gift and for me I am always praying and discerning about if God is calling me to have another baby or not. His plan is always perfect and I want to be open to having as many children as God wants to send me, so for me there won’t be a last baby until I’m past the child bearing years.

Thank you for making me cry. I think we all need a good cry once in awhile. I am 37 and my babies are 7 and 5. We are probably done with kids too, but that door is still open. We threw out our chair. It was falling apart. I constantly remind myself to enjoy them while they are little. They are already too big.

I’m not even a mother and this brought tears. I have rocked and loved many babies and can’t imagine how quickly it all goes by for parents. You are a gifted writer. Keep sharing. Oh, and keep that chair! Grandbabies will need a place to rock at your house.
