I have been trying to be the rock in our family–making things fun for my kids so they don’t have to worry; reminding my husband that God is in control when facing large cuts in hours and potential lay-offs; and encouraging my mom that our days are numbered while she worries about not exposing my diabetic dad to the virus while trying to help keep our local pharmacy running. Today, when I found out that my own hours had been cut drastically, I started to crack under the weight of it all. I did take it to the Lord, but I felt guilty, as so many people are suffering more than we are. But you’re so right–my cares are every bit as important as the next’s! What a mighty God we serve! He can carry it all!
