I agree, and I fear they will ruin it with his death, since Kate is so secretive about it. I’m afraid they’ll have him die in the arms of a hooker or something since wife and him had argument and he left and went to a bar. I hope they don’t ruin this by doing that.

This show has captured me from the very first episode. It has quietly and beautifully shown how life can be lived. This is a show with heart and one that I will continue to watch. The writers finally got it right and it is way past time.

I’ve only seen the first episode or two, but I thought the same thing: it’s about time that there was a dad and husband on t.v. like him. Like my husband, an unsung hero who constantly puts his wife and family first, and does the right thing, without applause or attention.
