There should be a warning to have tissues near you when you read this <3. You are so so right. When you raise your child you know them better than anyone. No one can truly judge what you do or do not do because they don't see the entire story. They see a snippet. You are brave and setting an excellent example for doing what's right even when it's hard. Thanks for sharing this!

Bless your heart. Trauma doesn't care which door it uses. You are right. This was my life with all four children. They still battle but I'm thankful they learned how to fight effectively. Thank you for sharing your story. Thank you for determining to stand by your child.

This article really hit home for me. I have a four year old son who has Sensory Processing Disorder and along with that comes OCD, anxiety, impulsivity and hyperactivity. He struggles with so many things that other kids his age do w such ease. He wears a weighted vest to his mother's day out preschool class and he sits w a weighted lap pad on his legs. It breaks my heart to know that he struggles with the simplest of things, but I wouldn't trade him for anyone else in the world. He has a heart of gold and his love for the Lord is already beginning to grow. Thank you for sharing your story. It helps me cope with some of the 'visions' I had about how his experiences would be. I appreciate you, Becky!
