I woke up this morning to a light little thump thump on my front door. I was pretty sure of two things. 1.) I was being robbed and 2.) The robber was about to see me in my fuzzy, too-short, worn-out red bathrobe – Both equally terrifying. Then, I realized, robbers don’t usually knock and they don’t usually drive a USPS vehicle. Whew. You can imagine my relief when I opened the door to find a cute little Hazel and Olive bag on my front porch. I forgot that I had ordered a new Jet Setter bag and adorable H&O Raleigh Top.
Oh, and good news. The only people who saw me in my bathrobe were the trash guys… and my neighbor… and half a dozen framers building a house next door. Because when I opened the door to get my bag, I remembered it was trash day, and I ran like crazy half asleep, bathrobe flying behind me like a cape to get the cans to the curb. Made it – lost all dignity. But, good news, this bag and top make up for it. 
I am super excited about this bag. It is perfect for Spring/Summer and will last well into Fall. I mean, can’t you just imagine wedges and dresses and sandals and sunglasses… and then also, tall boots and warm scarves… Lordy. I’m excited.
Needless to say, I put on the outfit and made sure to walk around outside a bit so neighbors and framers could see that I don’t always wear a red bathrobe. hahah… “I don’t always wear a red bathrobe, but when I do, I make sure I run like a crazy person to draw tons of attention.”
