Every now and then I put on an outfit I love and think back to my “fashion blogging” days. Did you know that this site actually began as a fashion/lifestyle blog? Did you know some of my fashion pins were featured by QVC and had 100’s of thousands of repins? Random websites even stole my images and used them to sell their products. Those were the good old days. Just kidding. Anyway, a few weeks ago, my husband and I took a quick trip to California. Four days away from the kids meant that I had more time than usual to think about what I wanted to wear in the mornings. I joked with my husband, “I love this version of me, but these clothes would never work in my real life.” He asked with sincerity, “Why not?” I didn’t have a good answer. My youngest is now two and the older kids are in school. So today, in my regular life, I put on this outfit and loved it. And I reminded myself that sometimes things change back to the way they were, and sometimes when they go back to the way they were, and sometimes we move on to something completely different. Rock whatever version of you fits your life right now, friend.
